Teaching obedience

by jennifer 24. November 2015 23:54

A few years back, when Aryan was 6 years old, his teacher complained to me that, on that day he was so talkative in the class.

It was surprising for me because normally he is well behaved.

We came home, had dinner and started the home work.

I started the conversation - "Aryan, what happened in class today?"

He said, "We studied something new. In one class the teacher was asking questions and at that time my friend asked me a question. I answered him but the teacher told me that I should stop talking."

In an exasperated voice he said, "Amma I was JUST helping him!".

Here is the chance I thought, to explain to him about the importance of obedience.

I said, "Aryan, I think the teacher was right in saying that. Imagine if you were a teacher. You have 20 students in your class. You are teaching, expecting that the children will listen. Then there is this one boy who talks when you are explaining something. What would YOU do?"

He looked at my eyes, thought for a while  and replied with a naughty smile, "Ciao, Collega (Hello Partner)!" and ran away!

With all my efforts gone in vain, I chased him around, secretly admiring his creativity, with a smile!

6-year-old boy in Swiss truck joyride

by Rajesh 19. September 2011 18:19

Every time my son Aryan sits in the driving seat and plays, I have wondered what if he starts.

Then I would think come on he wouldn't know how to do it.

After reading this article.. i was oops.

6-year-old boy in Swiss truck joyride

Police in Basel returned a six-year-old joyrider to his unsuspecting mum after the boy stole a delivery truck and drove his two young cousins to a nearby village outside Basel.

The three young boys were playing peacefully in the garden in front of a house in Aesch, south of Basel, when they suddenly had an idea, Blick newspaper reported.

The boys stole the key to the truck from a post box before the 6-year-old got behind the wheel and drove with his two passengers, aged five and seven, to Reinach some five kilometres to the north.

Their impromptu adventure came to an end when the pint-sized driver tried to turn the vehicle and instead drove backwards into a garden fence.

As local residents went to check what was happening, they saw the three budding truckers in the cab and notified the police.  ... more

I think I will be safe till I hold an Manual transmission auto.
